From March 2007 Murray has been working in Biloela for Powers Agribusiness as a Rural Consultant. His role as a Rural Consultant was to assist farming clients with general farm management strategies and options analysis. During the period from 2003 to 2007 Murray was employed with the Commonwealth Bank based in both Emerald and Biloela. Murray was a Relationship Executive and Agribusiness Specialist.

2008 saw Murray join NPR and with his previous agribusiness experience he has the knowledge to actually understand your business.

Murray graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor in Business majoring in Property Studies and also has a degree in Agricultural Economics from the same University.
